West Coast Avengers: Porn Parody #1
LOS ANGELES REPRESENT, BITCHEZZZ. I’m not usually one who shows attachment to my hometown and localities– definitely not one of those girls buying those California tees, that’s for sure. And yet, West Coast Avengers has a special place in my heart cause there’s just something quintessentially LA about it.
Between the fact that it’s set in Venice Beach, and that it features a bunch of movie tropes, and that the entire series centers around a group of superheroes living together all Big-Brother-style, it’s just got this super special place in my heart. Also the comic features a good chunk of my favorite characters, such as both Hawkeyes, Gwenpool, and Quentin Quire, which is pretty fucking sick in itself.
I’m so fucking bummed that the official series is ending, and while we wrote most of this comic before that news was announced, I think it’s a fitting send-off to the story– my love letter to Kate’s ragtag team of Avengers and their adventures by the beach.
And as you’ll see on page one, I just couldn’t resist adding one last character to the team. Anyways, I really hope you guys like this comic, deffo one of my favorite stories that I’ve worked on, and honestly one of my favorite Tracyverse stories as a whole.
When Kate Bishop decided to go along with Quentin Quire’s idea of bringing a film crew to document and fund their operation as the West Coast Avengers, she didn’t expect that they’d be so interested in the sex lives of a superhero team. How could she know that, right?
